R4
part of my wishes for my 50th birthday was to have a selection of musical heroes play at the room, listed below is quite an impressive line up I feel, however listed above is the ultimate hero (but don't tell him I said so).

R4 has played more gigs than anybody I know, drank more manns brown ale than anybody I know and has probably brought more entertainment to people than anybody I know.

making a rare appearance before so many people all in one night is the very fabulous R4

blues at ten
during the 1980's blues at ten where one of the hottest bands paying in and around the area, featuring jason parr (guitar), mac (drums), simon hadenham (bass) and red (vocals), playing a jazz infused blues style of music, reforming especially for tonight, it will be a real treat many of their old followers and friends.

folking 50
a collective of local musicians with a sway toward folk, featuring a selection of h's favorite musicans and friends,among those performing on the night will be tony dinsdale, tosh, nick roll and R4 bring athe spirit of reedham ferry folk festival sunday survivors session to the night....

canine feline

Canine feline are a 4 piece female fronted rock band from Great Yarmouth. They formed in December 2006 and have since been writing loads of original material, as well as recording their first demo CD and doing various local gigs.
The band consists of:

Canine feline have a unique style of powerful yet melodic music, which any music lover will enjoy.

a 5 piece indie/alternative rock/punk/..... erm well lets not label but we're a band anyway and we're loving what we're doing!

Our final member joined in August 2007 and we've been going full speed ahead writing and rehearsing since then. We started gigging in October 2007 and have been lucky to continue gigging quite regularly since then. In November & December 2007 we recorded our first 10 songs at a place we like to call - Black Hole Studios!

The end result was fantastic as you can hear from the songs on our page. We currently have an amazing set of 16 songs, every one offering a unique quality. We have worked very hard on our song writing and we hope it shows!

Every week we are contnuing to write and rehearse and have big ambitions to be a huge success!!! If you get a chance, come to a gig or watch this space!!! Al13

the very lovely mr johnson of llewelyn and club uniquity, will be appearing providing us with some fantastic acoustic versions from the mighty llewelyn's portfolio.

Acoustic stage four features no less than three acts, duo “Yum Yum” are Lisa and Jo who appeared at last year’s Room, their almost silent and gentle songs will grip you then blow you away with Lisa’s haunting and powerful voice.

jake rivers
rivers enigmatic frontman and songwriter, jake river takes to the acoustic stage in a solo spot, performing a selection of songs of his choice.

jason parr & red
returning from last year for another rare appearance will be Jason Parr and Red, former members of local band Blues At Ten, neither of them perform on a wide scale nowadays so we are somewhat privileged to have them perform for a second year, Jason an accomplished slide guitarist and piano player, Red a gravelly voiced blues singer are allegedly conjuring up a musical delight for us, best not to be missed.

exceptionally talented pianist, songwriter and composer Allen Scott, whose musical repertoire range from quirky satirical lyrics based songs to opera and classical pieces,
