the lorebreakers
back at the very first reedham ferry folk festival to the stage on the friday evening took two young lads ben and shaun, the lorebreakers a folk duo playing up tempo music with ben on guitar/vocals and shaun on fiddle/vocal, having always considered folk music a bit of a finger in the ear thing these boys showed me another side of that music, nearly 10 years later by chance having planned this event I bumped into them playing at a charity gig and had only one thing on my mind I must book them for the room.
over the past 10 years the lads have played up and down the country appearing at folk festivals, as well as playing local gigs
frost and mudd

paul johnson from club uniquity recently spoted these two guys playing at norwich cathederal and booked them of his club, they were a natural selction for the room adding the total eclectic feel that the room does so well.
James Frost and John Mudd combine original songwriting and instrumental composition, with reworkings from artists as diverse as Bjork, Nick Drake and Soundgarden. Their debut EP ‘Frost and Mudd’ was launched at a sold-out performance at the King of Hearts in Norwich, and they have played festivals and acoustic showcases throughout East Anglia. Their dynamic combination of frontline cello, tender guitar and accomplished songwriting is both powerful and memorable.
Really impressive...note perfect playing and singing from the heart" - BBC Radio Norfolk
